Music Media Tribe is all about upskilling musicians, music and media teachers and students about the meaning and feeling of music, creative lyric writing for small and large groups, recording using cool software, plus creating marketing strategies using video and articles to promote the music we create.

One of my newest passions is meeting with and video interviewing seasoned music and media professionals who have been playing, creating, engineering, recording, producing and selling their products for many years.

These people have so much great knowledge to share so I’m also going to share that with you on their behalf. The calibre of people I’ve interviewed so far (which there are many) includes:

  • Nigel Gray who recorded the first three Police albums, Siouxse and the Banshees, Godley and Creme
  • Andrew Farriss from INXS who has written and co-written all their hits
  • Bob Cooper who just retired after being being in the first violins of the BBC Concert Orchestra for 35 years
  • Peter Northcote – undoubtedly one of the best guitarists on the planet and session musician (if you’ve ever listened to radio or watched TV you would have heard him over and over) plus an amazing producer with his own studio
  • music teachers, vocal teachers, voices coaches, video marketing experts, documentary and film makers……and much more.

So go get the book and I’ll see you soon.

To your musical success!
