Making Tracks

Bringing Music To The Classroom

About The Program

This music workshop provides an opportunity for students and teachers to learn how to compose and mix music on a Mac under the guidance of music industry professional – John Bennetts (ex Eurogliders)

What They’ll Learn

Students and teachers can choose to re-record their school song, create a new school anthem or compose their own original tune whilst using music fundamentals. They will be guided through the process of writing lyrics, recording and mixing their tracks with a finished product CD being delivered by the end of the day.

Who Should Attend

The workshops are geared towards students from years 4-12. No prior music experience is required and the participants can include mixed ages. Students who have musical knowledge or ability will benefit greatly from these sessions.

The workshop consists of three sessions to coincide with your school’s timetable on the day.
